My name is Jerzy and I am a Midlands-based fully qualified Translator and Interpreter of Polish with over 25 years of experience in the field. I hold a BA (Hons) degree in Applied Linguistics and an MA degree in Sociolinguistics.
I am a full member of both CIOL (Chartered Institute of Linguists) and NRPSI (National Register of Public Service Interpreters), I am accredited by Poland’s Ministry of Justice as their Sworn-in Translator and I have enhanced DBS security clearance.
Over the years of working with solicitors and barristers, as well as directly for HM Courts, CPS and the Police, I have been involved in many cases that have made it to the local and national press.
Some other areas in which I have worked include: business, publishing, literature, academia, social services, mental health, NGO’s and media.
